Everyone knows that what happens on memorial day weekend stays on memorial day weekend... and everyone knows Memorial Day weekend never begins on Memorial Day Weekend. Each year, the traditional pilgrimage to Destin starts with the insatiable urge to blow off work, pop a bottle top and start dusting the cobwebs off your mad game a the nearest pub... that usually happens around Thursday but we at Wednesday Night Drinking Club like to say "have envelope, will push". We also like to say "please make the burning stop", but that's another matter. Consider yourself cordially invited to attend the WNDC Memorial Day Kick-Off Party on Wednesday, May 25th at The Loft at Earthlink Live & The New Park Bench in Midtown for an evening of drinking, live music, and all the hotties you can shake a state of Florida speeding citation at. Live entertainment courtesy of super-bitchin' party band, The Foxy Mondays (with Ballyhoo Orchestra opening). Festivities start at 7pm and continue until they stop.
